One of the normal ways to do it would be to create a separate entity in your permissions table solely for that user and that board. obviously like it to the right user so he still has the other permissions. But a lot of it would depend on how you set up your database.

how do you model following statement with RBAC ? “standard user might be given moderator permissions for one board on a forum, but when that user goes to another board they are just a standard user”. So if user is moderator for group1 and basic user for group2 how do you define role & permission?
